Eminent and Elevated was born from a personal journey of transformation and resilience.
In 2016, I weighed 250 pounds—82 pounds overweight—and felt trapped by my own habits and excuses. That all changed during a trip to Detroit, when I looked in the mirror and saw a reflection that shocked me—bulging out of clothes, exhausted, and uninspired. In that moment, I realized I was living below my potential. I made a vow to change.
The road wasn’t easy. I started working out at night, battling fears and soreness, questioning if I could succeed. But I persisted—going from three times a week to daily sessions, embracing cardio, and losing 20 pounds within three months. With time, discipline, and support from my wife Loudette, I shed 60 pounds over three years. She introduced me to smarter eating habits, including intermittent fasting, helping me lose an extra 21 pounds. Inspired by this journey, I became a fitness instructor, teaching the very classes that challenged me most.
My story isn’t just about personal achievement; it’s the foundation of what Eminent and Elevated stands for. It’s a reminder that anyone can reinvent themselves with focus, perseverance, and commitment. The real battle is against time—everything else is noise.
